Default Evening with Lord Rutledge

It was another amazing evening spent in class (scrimmaging) with Reg, no matter how far along you are or how new to the hobby you are there is always something to gain and learn. A 1 hour scrimmage turned into a 3 hour session, I walked in the door of my house at 2AM. I studied the every movement of his players and then asked many questions, and Reg studied mine as well and then as always gave me a few tips on how to improve my up and coming Raiders. I'm very fortunate to live just 5 minutes away from Reg, and as always his there to help me along my EFL/MF journey Thank you Reg you have always been there to help me out along the way. With that being said all I have to say is

GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a series of movies I have seen in the past
I think it was called Star Wars
Could Raidernation be Darth Vader
And RR be yoda
Then who would be Luke Skywaker??
Mike Roberson or perhaps Barry??
or is Raidernation Luke ????
May the force be with you

Default RD, I appreciate your...

time as well. It definitely goes both ways. It gives me a basis of where to start building my team in my own image. You played well. I lost yet another scrimmage. It's been like 0-534-1 over the past 14 years in the DFW! For some reason, I can not seem to do well in controlled scrimmages.

But the information I gained was invaluable as I began to create my team. So a big thanks must go to you as well.

Default Once upon a time...

in Michael Robertson's early maturation in the DFW, he wanted to scrimmage and win. I told him that winning was the least of my worries. I knew I could win but gaining information and knowledge was so much more important for me.

Every scrimmage gives me an opportunity to isolate on certain areas. It could be to isolate my corners and make sure I could trust them. It could be individual battles in the O-Line or how the effect of Proline Bases have on a pass rush or if a Singletary pose would fit the bill as a lead runner.

Winning is never the ultimate goal. I will have a dress rehearsal to see if we are ready sometime up the road. The problem is that when you scrimmage people, they go back and take that information and give it to your opponents. I am just paranoid because there are many new wrinkles I work on and trusting your scrimmage partners to hold it to secrecy does not seem to work. So it's usually basic.

That's just my philosophy and it probably will continue that way. But don't you just love the intrigue?

Reg

Reg,
Funny thing is that you don't keep score and you only care about certain aspects of the game, yet I was constantly shaking that ******** "Little Box" and what is also surprising is that though "Reg" doesn't keep score, he does know exactly how many scrimmage games he has had(535), and he also knows that he has tied one, and lost 534. And if you don't keep score how do you figure you lost that scrimmage Saturday night, I really didn't know I didn't keep score either, so if you say I won that's news to me. It was a great night with a great teacher.

RPD,

I can picture it now... the flowing robes, the crown, his orb.,the foot soildiers waiting in attendance, the minions poised to do his bidding and the papparazzi waiting out side to get e glimpse of the king. It must have been magical
