![]() To all coaches, I am asking a favor. There is a problem going on now that really concerns me between two coaches, the deal has gone bad and the lies are endless. The sender in this case now says the package was delivered and he said he verified it at his post office through the tracking number, even gave the date it was delivered. The end user took that same tracking number and went to his post office and they said that that tracking number was invalid and no record was ever inputted into the system with that tracking number.
This is not right especially when it involves members of this community, there have been several instances of price gouging against fellow members and a multitude of things that are unethical. We all need to appreciate what we have as a hobby and not take advantage of each other. Making a fair profit is great, but please refrain from stealing or cheating your fellow enthusiast. In the instance that I mentioned above, my sister works for the Post Office and she flat out said there is no way one post office can have a tracking number and track it for delivery and another post office using the same tracking number cannot be found because it's an invalid number. This is a game by the sender, SENDER please do what's right, everyone do what's right. We have something really special now reaching all across the country, I think we are close to 100 coaches participating in one league. Lets not spoil this. I will ask the end user for the tracking number and have it forwarded to my sister so she can pursue this with a Postal Inspector. There is a thing called MAIL FRAUD, it is a crime guys and gals. I hope it does not get to that point where fraud inspectors have to get involved. Lets all respect each other and our hobby, IT IS GROWING BIGGER EVERY DAY, WE ALL HAVE WAITED FOR THIS. ![]() First,
I'd verify that both parties are using the "SAME" tracking number! Your sister is correct, there is "No possible" way for one post office to have the information and not the other. Someone is scamming, or "buying time" as I look at it, depending on who it is. Mike Last edited by GUTTMANN : 03-04-2010 at 01:05 PM. |

![]() Thats why I only deal with people I know. I dont know how many times I wanted to buy things from the trade forum but I dont because I dont know that person. If you buy something on the trade forum you should be allowed to post a comment on this transaction so others dont get scammed. I know comments can damage a reputaion so how about a trading grade with no comments. The grade can be found on a persons profile.

![]() I just sent an email to Weirdwolfe regarding that very same topic. Let's see how they want to handle this, I think that is a great idea.

![]() I always "add" delivery confirmation, at MY expense, to every package
I send out in this hobby for this very reason. You know IF and WHEN it gets there.None of this,"Oh I didn't get it" mess......( unless it's stolen from the mail box-sender can't be held responsible or that ) You can track the package via phone or computer. If you type in an invalid tracking number it lets you know and DOES NOT give out bogus delievery info. Someone is trying to pull a 'quick' one,but I'm not suprised. It's sad to say,but I'm going to say it, there are some "shady" characters out there in this hobby......Believe it or not.If you don't,you're just fooling yourself.I've dealt with a few,so I know first-hand.The hobby as a whole,is fairly honest, but like everywhere in life, you have that 10 % that try to get over.I ,too,am tired of it and am very close to calling it quits as far as doing teams and other EF related items that I do for folks. It's sad, just sad !!!!!!! Just my thoughts and opinions on this .If it offends anyone, Oh well........... SEMPER FI, Chris Stacey Hampton,VA Last edited by ChrisStacey : 03-04-2010 at 02:02 PM. |

![]() I know i have no interest in serving as a a judge. The only option for the MFCA in order to alleviate any risk towards the MFCA in these situations is to do away with the Trading Forum. I have researched this quite a bit in the past, because of previous encounters and talked to lawyers about it.
It unfortunately is a "buyer beware" or "No trading Forum" scenario. We cannot, without risk to the MFCA, employ a sellers grading system. I am open to hearing possibilities, but to the best of my knowledge this is the case....(disclaimer...I'm not always right. ![]()
