![]() possibilities, .....................mike pratt and I were working on a way of passing using the laser, .....that was about five years ago, .......however the implementation of both Pass Simulation AND the TTQB, in a game seem to work well for now.

![]() I have an idea to do this...
It would require foil tape, a watch battery and either an led for lighting the tackled ball carrier or a mini cell phone buzzer motor (this would most likely knock the ball carrier over -- simulating a tackle ![]() I will show pics of what I am talking about later today... just an idea. Maybe someone could run with it? ![]() Roller

![]() The issue with some form of electronic base is its size. If you wanted to create a base that lights when it contacts another base, some type of electronic circuit would have to be mounted within the base. The circuit will have to be compact enough to allow the base to continue to move freely as it does now. Along with its compactness, the circuit would have to produce its own power. Transistors are as small as a pin head, but they still need other larger electronic components in order to work. The inside of your computer is a perfect example of what I am talking about. The processor has millions of transistors mounted on it. The power of those transistors is translated through the motherboard.
I think remote base manipulation and response of any kind will have to start at the board itself because it has enough space to accommodate the necessary electronics needed to control the game. Maurice The Electric Coach

![]() Great idea...now if we can only get a laser to say, "are their bases touching"...that's one of my biggest pet peeves in this hobby...guys look from 42 different angles until they can see a sliver of a molecule between their base and your base.

![]() As promised, here is the idea behind "light up" or electronic tackling.
All defensive players' bases would have a single strip of foil tape attached to the front of their base. The offensive ballcarriers' bases would have a watch battery and a tiny LED light installed. The ballcarriers' bases would have two tiny strips of foil tape wrapped around the entire base (the pictures only show the front... my mistake). When the two bases touched, the circuit would complete and the light would turn on. You could also substitute a small cell phone or pager vibrator to knock over the ballcarrier. Could be fun!
