Default Ed Marinaro

I used some different gloss spray that my dad had down in the shop (will post the name of it later.) I think it smoothened out my paint a little. I can tell this figure is glossy.
It also needs a little paint touch up, a football, and some paint and grass on the platform.
Here it is.
P.S.- I will be on today, school is canceled.

I just added my detail work to my figure. It is drying right now.
The name of the sealent I used is called "Formby's Clear protective finish."

Okay, here is a few pictures of Ed Marinaro. My question to you is, do you think I should quit touching up right now, or should I touch up a little more and where?
Thanks,
Taylor

Default A few more

A few more pix in the detail areas to give you a better view of the detail work.
I will be adding grass to the base which should cover up the platform bumps.

I decided to touch the figure up the figure. I also put on a different gloss sealer. It is by Plaid and is called Clear Acrylic Sealer.
It leaves a very tiny scent, but it doesn't smell bad. I decided not to use the Formby's because it looks like the white will turn out yellowish.
I repainted the white and I touched up the figure.
Here it is, although I don't have chinstraps, facemasks, or decals on it yet, I'm pretty happy with it.
What do you think? Comments and tips would be helpful.

I think it looks great Mike.
I use the same sealent you used and have had no problems with it.
When you put the decals and the face mask it will make it POP.

Make sure you add pics when you are finished.

I think your lines are good and clean! Once numbered and grassed and the extras added, I think you will be very happy with this one! Make one for the paint/custom contest! Just remember you can't post it. They have to be sent to weirdwolf@weirdwolf.net so that we can post all at the same time.

Default Taylor, I am very proud of the work that you do

Taylor,

You do good work and as you get older, you will do even better work because obviously, you are a perfectionist.

One of the great things about customizing is that once you "slap" the paints and decals on the figures, everything starts to come to life. I will be very interested to see the Heisman Trophy winner from Cornell.

I remembered when he came out of Cornell and put on the purple and white of the Vikes. I was not too thrilled at the time but he was a good player for the Vikes.

I love the "Michigan Joe" Marion Barber impression. Take a few shots far from the player so that some of the distortions don't show. That's what I am starting to get a feel of with my camera. When you get too close, it may take away from what you are trying to get with a figure.

I love the color and the pose. Also, you know you don't have to cut that grille off his face. Once the face mask are laid over that, you will never know the difference. Keep up the hard work because it is appreciated and used as a source of inspiration. I wish all 12 year olders wer "old souls" like yourself.
