Calling All League and Tournament Champions

League Commissioners and Tournament Organizers Only:

I am doing research for the MFCA's Archive Committe and I need the names of your champions for the past 15 years. If your league started last year or so, still please forward me their names. I also need names of others who have contribute tremendously to our beloved hobhy, i.e. custom painters, figures, apparatus makers, etc. Your help is greatly appreciated.

The MWEFL was...

• ..founded in 1999 by Edgar Downs, Frank Johnson and Terry Anderson, using the STRATEGY DIVIDER (TM) to separate the teams during play setup.
• Frank won the first two Seasons: '99 and '00 (Pro);
• Edgar won the next 2: '01 and '02 (Pro);
• Ron Christianson was ranked #1 in '03 (Pro, no Playoffs);
• Edgar and I both had 3 teams in the Top 10 in our '04 College Championship Series (no Playoffs);
• Jimbo Dunagan won '05 College Championship Series;
• Edgar Downs won '06 Pro Season; and
• we are currently in our '07 Spring Pro Season.

OK.. We are the Tornado Alley Electric Football League..
Teams in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska. And I keep trying to recruit guys in one of the other REAL Tornado Alley states, Oklahoma. It'd be great to see other teams from Colorado, Iowa, and Arkansas join in as well.

Season 2 will be starting May 2007.

Season 1 champion was Bill Brent (aka Kansas Bill) and the Kansas Tornados

Which will be my ONLY championship if things don't change..
