It was mentioned the PL rookie bases only go in one direction no matter how you tweak them, true, to some extent.
In LAEFL and CBSMF PAC 10 we have PL rookies that go backwards and move laterally, it's all about the element of surprise. When you set a PL rookie base down on the field and it moves in any direction but forward, but looks the same as a standard PL rookie, your opponent is always on his guard.
Pull the prongs off so you have just a PL shell and glue your own prongs underneath, then you can create a PL looker that moves any way you wish.
