If Tudor had come up with the concept of tweaking the bases back in the 70's, then the game would be much more popular today. That...and a good sound tutorial on passing...would have turned this game from a rather quaint memory for some to a mega hobby! Virtually every young American male played electric football or was exposed to it back in the 70's...frustration with the mechanics of the game kept it from becoming as big as Nintendo or similar sensations!

What is the history of base tweaking? I would love to know who came up with the idea and when the idea really began to spread. That is what resurrected this hobby to its status today. Unfortunately, it is hard to compete with the computer era...the youth of today are generally more excited about digitally based entertainment.
