Default Methods for Footballfigures.com Players

Andre,

I literally work with millions of FF.COM players so I may have some first hand knowledge of this. All that stuff you may have heard about putting FF.COM in alcohol or priming the players is really TOTALLY unnessary.

I can paint a quality team of 24 players in 8 hours. I know you ordered the DVD and it explains all of this.

Step 1
Spray the players white using Krylon Semi-Gloss

Step 2
Do the Skin Tones

Step 3
Paint the pants, shirts or helmet in whatever order you like.

Step 4
Use FF.COM decals and apply. Cut the decal out. It does not have to be precise. FF.COM decals come off in about 5 seconds!

In applying the decals, I use a wide tip brush. This is the quickest and easiest method. Unlike with tweezers, you never have to worry about the ink coming off. I know on FF.COM decals, they will remain erect so you never worry about them balling/crinkling up.

Step 5
Absorb the excess water using a tissue from the decal.

Step 6
Once you've situated the decal, spray Testors 1261 (a light coat).

Step 7
Apply FF.COM facemask using a paint brush to put the bend in the grille.

Step 8
Create chin strap using masking tape (yellow)
You take some masking tape and spray it with the flat white Krylon paint. Then use the 1261 to seal it. Once this has been done, cut out very tiny strips to create the face mask.

Step 9
Apply the chin straps using a hobby knife.

Step 10
Create the chin padding effect eith the aid of a white paint under the chin in a small round circular manner.

Step 11
Allow the player to dry

Step 12
Apply some Modge Podge around the fron of the helmet.

Step 13
Apply the FF.COM facemask.

Step 14
Seal the player with Testors 1261

Other things
You could have created eyes. I have a whole section on creating eyes.

You can create a team of 24 high quality painted players in 8 hours. You just have to do the prep work ahead of time and then it becomes easy.
