after 10 yards=any touch except back of base, (the defenders) back of base is never a tackle.
Passing Plays
any touch except back of base.
QB, whether running the ball or in a passing play=any touch, except back of base.
if the ball carrier is tackled squarely from behind, it is a fumble and a coin flip determines possession.
