B-I-G board!
My 24x48" homemade board is beautiful for opening up the game (23"x46" boundry with 1" side lines). I like the width of the 308 and the size of the Watts boards are good too (both slightly less than 23"x46"). I put figures on the old Tudor superbowl board a little while back and it was extremly tight and I couldn't imagine myself ever playing on that small board again so I ripped the motor off of it and scrapped the metal. The board has to run good though, just because its big its got to run good.
Big boards all the way. Bigger than about 24x48" then I see some diminishing returns on opening things up with the expense of being too big to store and fitting on a table.
