We might not take the hits anymore, but we gotta keep our core muscles in shape just like back in the day! Knee lifts while you're sitting down, toe-touches, alternate knee-to-elbow, crunches, etc are IMPORTANT if you wanna survive playing a marathon Season like the Dixie League and any Tourney you go to. If YOU don't prepare yourself, your team can only do so much.
