Are you suggesting a secondary tournament - let's say, similar to the traditional Green Room Rumble - where MFCA rules can be used?
If I'm understanding you right, then this seems fine by me. If nothing else, the 20 folks get a chance to get more games for their travel dollar, which is an important consideration for our sport, too.

Not neccessarily another tourny but, similar to the Green Room Rumble, playing league games. The host tournament will continue, as is. By doing this each tournament will become a host weekend for the participating members in the region. The Open Run will have its champion, under its rules, but behind the scenes games are being played by Host & Travel coaches, that have real standings & implications here on the East Coast. This is nothing new, whats new is using already established dates, to further a central goal, as the Hobby cant support, anything else, other than what is already established.
