I don't understand one thing, concerning passing :
Quote:
With either passing attempt, offensive coach must first reach into the bag (12 craft footballs). If he pulls out one of the clear footballs ( 8 in the bag ), the pass can be attempted. If he pulls out a different football ( 4 in the bag ), the pass is incomplete. Move to the next play. This method gives coaches a 66% chance of completing a
pass which is a little higher than the NFL average passing percentage ( 60% )

If I understand correctly, that random pick is used to simulate the pro passes completing percentage. Chances of
COMPLETING a pass. Wich are, if I understand, about 60% in NFL.
BUt that random pick allow the player to
ATTEMPT a pass. Not to complete it. So add the random pick + the natural percentage of diferent passing methods (ttqb, sticks, etc...), you will fall far from the 60 or 66% of complete passes, finally.
Do you understand what I mean ? For me, finally that random stage in passing is just another form of the dice box. Just a random effect. No reality matching, since the percentage does not match anymore (60% completed passes in NFL, 60% "attempted passes" in the MF pro set ruleset...It's not the same thing at all).
Or perhaps I didn't understood the rule
