...IS for me and my fellow BEAR fanatics that think Rex is GROSS!!! That cat single-handedly lost the BIG ONE and continues week after week in proving how SORRY he is and how SORRY ownership in all of Chicago is!!! As of right now, I'm rooting for the PACKERS!!! I think they should let 6 lucky fans - myself especially - coach the last 6 games. Lovey is a sweet guy :p but he needs to grow a pair and tell Rex to buff the bench! Then they almost got a fellow Gator in Leak??? My goodness, what is this world coming to?

#18 Kyle Orton is the future! 10-5 before they put Gross Rexman in. Until then, I will root for the OTHER team!!! :eek:

i must agree with the kyle orton thing. i never understood why he never got another shot, he came, he proved that he was decent, he was benched for a guy who may retire with a negative qb rating.:D

Don't underestimate Jay Schroeder in this. He and Doug Williams had beef in 86 and 87 over the starting job. Doug was never really the clear starter and Schroeder hated the fact that he was benched for Williams before the playoffs.

Local Skins fans will recall this more than out of towners.

it was an issue during the 87 season because if you remember the Giants blanked the redskins 17-0 in the championship game the year before (86) and the receivers did not like Schroeder because he could not throw with touch.

DM with Doug Williams you forgot the whole city of Tampa. If you remember he was sent a human heart in the mail before he was Redskin! Jay may have disliked him, but for a long time Tampa hated him worse and now he again works for them. Go figure.
