Ray has better range, LT has the sack as his calling card. which would u choose?mgngcrz I think Ray overall because of his versatility flat out.:eek:

Two different positions. Different responsibilities. LT is the best outside linebacker to ever play and Ray will be the best middle linebacker to ever play.

You would Ray above Mike Singletary?

They are and were both great midle linenackers but you do have an argument there ZEEK. This is why it's very difficult to compare Hall of Fame players.

I understand they were 2 diff positions with diff responsibilities.

But for these 2 where they were paced does nit matter. THEY BOTH

1)FLEW TO THE BALL

2)TRACKED DOWN RECEIVERS AND RUNNING BACKS

3)DESTROYED QB'S

4)BOTH FAST AS YOU KNOW WHAT.

5)BOTH INCREDIBLE LEADERS ON THE FIELD

6)BOTH PUT A HURT ON YOU.

***All the experts will always say L T FIRST. I agree. Im just wondering where does that one little thing stand out for L T.

Remember, NFL teams had to gameplan AROUND L T. He changed the game!

It actually does make a difference what position they played....
When you are game planning you really never gameplan for the middle linebacker unless he is a pass rushing middle linebacker.....LT was a major presence on the field you had to always account for him constantly playing in your backfield...just like Derrick Thomas of the Chiefs....

You always had to know where LT was on the field.....You will always know where RayRay will be ......
