Coaches/leagues on Maui
 

Hi, I'm definitely a newbie (born again newbie actually...we didn't have it down to this much of a science as kids) but looking for coaches or a league to get back in lightly to EF/ miniature football.
Are there any coaches on Maui?

I may be the closest person to you. I live on Oahu. I am trying to get some old friends together from small kid days and re-introduce them to the game. I've been back in the game since January 2010, so I am a "newbie" too.

That's great! We can start an inter- island league.
I was hoping some of these rock stars of the ef/miniture football world could come and hold a convention in hawaii :0)

Man, I would love to come to a miniature football convention in Hawaii. Used to say the only way I would ever go to Hawaii was to go to the Pro Bowl. But a Miniature Football Convention in Hawall??? Dude, I'm there!!!!

Talked it over with the family and we are going to the convention in Hawaii.
Just make it in 2 years from now, I need time to save .

I'm thinking Hawaii Convention Center Waikiki...
but you know what they say..."Maui No Ka Oi" hehe maui would work too!

I guess it's gonna be who amasses the most number of EF/MF ers...

2 years from now? That should give everyone ample time to save. Maui sounds like a great possibility. Maui no ka oi = "Maui's #1!"

If a 2 year target is on the map, it can be worked out. It does not have to be a convention but a NEW tournament or established tournament will take center stage. Enough coaches would have to be willing to make this a family vacation and miniature football weekend. IM SURE THE FAMILIY MEMBERS CAN SOMETHING TO DO. We will need a contact person to ship boards down there and hold in storage. I think i woud be better to have it on the big island.

Even if only 30 coaches were interested, that still would be great. It must be coordinated were you play some games, then spend time with the family. I would definitely be in !!!

It would be special due to the setting.
