Plastic Fusion is made by the super glue people..

When I originally found this stuff, supposedly Home Depot was the only place I could get the stuff. (in Wichita).. there is a place on the Super Glue website to inquire about where you can get the stuff based on your zipcode.

I think I previously said something about how easy this stuff is to sand as well.. A mini-file set works great to sand/form on this stuff too..

Hey bill,

What is your method of applying this glue ? Do you just spread some on before using the ttqb ? Do you notice the difference after the glue is on ?

I wonder if reveena al can solve this problem !

Like I said, never tried it, just remember hearing or reading it somewhere along the line. Not sure how far you would be able to push the needle into the plastic before it cools too much and stops going further.

I may give this one a try this weekend.

Anyone hear of this?

It sounds like it would work...

I have a white TTQB that's got some ankle issues and it's worth a shot to try and fix him this way...

I plan on giving it a try tonight...I'll let you know how it goes...

I tried the pin method once. Stuck my finger, burned my finger and threw the QB away that I was trying to fix. It was more work then it was worth but maybe you will have better luck. I have seen Bills's QB and he does work better with the super fusion stuff!

Wolf,
Did you learn that passing method from Tom Ruesink or did he learn that from you? I saw Tom pass that way at his show (in practice only, I think he put down the sticks EVERY time in the games) and was impressed!

I might have seen others do it this way but when it finally hit home was while I watched my 3 year old son try passing. I noticed his grip and the light came on.

I bought Plastic Fusion based on Kansas Bills mention of it in another post. You should have no trouble finding it at Home Depot, it works good too.

Anyone Ever Tried This

Ever heard of a product called J.B Weld? It's a two part epoxy resin and hardner, but it works wonders on stuff like motors, stripped threads cracks, etc...I always have a couple of tubes in my garage, I may try some on a TTQB ankle and see how it works on that plastic. It works on a lot of stuff, I have seen it do some miraculous things in the garage, really good product.

I will see what it does to a TTQB ankle, similar to the way the Plastic Fusion is being used.

Here's a pic and they have a good website too.

BTW...I tried this and it went nowhere. Maybe the pin I tried it with wasn't the right choice and I should have gone with a needle because the pin just ended up bending before I made any real progress into the player base...

So on to other options...

I am surprised Weirdwolf had problems with the glue...you know...all that hair on his knuckles...must have been a real problem when the hair came off...rtfl$ lffng$ mgngcrz
